Day nine - the Tower and bridge and great plays on stage

tower

Dennie up on the wall walk.
Some cannons! Down in the basement of the tower.

Margie on the stairs! They are very narrow!
 tower bridge
I loved this bridge the best of them all!

trafalgar square
We went into the national gallery and saw some impressionists.

Fountain in center of square with National gallery different view
Lots of tourists getting pictures with the lions

jack the ripper walking tour where it seems we walked for miles but it was definitely a tour I will never forget. creepy and gruesome and mysterious. It started at the roman wall across the street from the tower of london.
Yes I enjoyed the history of it all and was glad we were with a crowd in the one part of London where we were walking. Did not seem really safe.

boat tour of the thames

excellent tour lots of info and it did not rain on us.

Finding our bus stops. there are a lot of different tour buses in london and we had to figure out which bus stops were ours. Original tours.
Once we had it figured out it was great. I love these Hop on Hop off buses-you can really see a lot of places in a city.

dinner before the play which was lovely. they even gave me a birthday cake.
took a cab to the theatre

billy elliot- It was wonderful! our seats were very close to the front and so it was very up close and personal. The Victoria Theater was a wonderful old theater-so much history
