Deal castle

Deal castle was so very old! Really thick walls a true fortress.
We did go around the walls to the archers windows and it was very dark and in parts kind of scary because then we could not see where to get back out!

the beach
What a fabulous beach! Had a nice time just walking the shore looking for shells and enjoying the sights and smells of the shore.

the local pub and a great dinner

The Cat and the Custard Pot Pub. Good ale and supper.
we had some sort of cauliflower cheese bake, which was delicious!\

Lots of airplane-RAF memorabilia

Pictures of all the pilots that used to hang out in the pub during the war.
